This is a gorgeous piece of religious art. The image shows the Blessed Virgin Mary holding a young Christ in her arms. The print is housed in a stunning frame with decorative reverse painted glass that serves to enhance the image.
This is a vintage publication on Catholic teaching. It is a booklet that discusses the Catholic arguments against contraception. It is presented in the format of the Baltimore Catechism with questions put forth followed by the Church’s answers. This was published in 1949 well before the encyclical Humanae Vitae (Pope Paul VI, 1968) proving that this is a long-standing church teaching.
This is a wonderful antique explanation of Catholic teaching. The Catechism of the Council of Trent, also known as the Roman Catechism, produced in 1566 is the oldest summary of the doctrines and teachings of the Catholic Church. This edition includes the entire Roman Catechism with helpful side-bar notations.
