This is a unique religious devotional brooch. The center is a petite image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in profile enameled in beautiful bright blue. This medal is framed in pearly lucite on a gold finished background. Gorgeous!
This is a gorgeous vintage rosary. The beads are delicate ovals made of luminous mother of pearl. The centerpiece is hexagonal with an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in profile. The crucifix is very elegant and includes roses carved into the cross behind the corpus. “France” is printed on the reverse of the crucifix.
This is a fantastic vintage rosary. It is an early use of glow in the dark beads, likely from the 1950’s. The crucifix is the same glowing material with a metal corpus and a metal back. The centerpiece shows the Blessed Virgin Mary with hands folded in prayer while the reverse is a small image of Christ with His Sacred Heart exposed.
These rosaries became very popular in the 1950’s and are wonderful keepsakes. Image this scene from a time when Sunday worship was the focus of the week:
“The bishop of Peru shared on EWTN how he loved watching the people on their nightly walk up the mountain to attend Mass the next morning. With their rosaries around their necks or in their hands, you could see the long line of glowing beads moving slowly upward along the mountain trail.“ (taken from the Rosary Workshop website)
This is a wonderful vintage rosary case. It is heart shaped with a Miraculous Medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the center. The case is made of stiffened mesh with a brass colored finish and a kiss clasp closure.

This is a gorgeous vintage religious medal. The cover is a beautiful hand painted rose with enamel finish. This slides to reveal the Miraculous Medal of the Blessed Virgin Mary with wonderfully fluted edges. The reverse of the cover shows Saint Joseph holding a young Christ in his arms. Wonderful.
History of the Miraculous Medal
In 1830, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to novice sister Catherine Labouré on several occasions. The Madonna showed St. Catherine a vision and requested that the image shown be struck onto medallions. Our Lady indicated that all who wear these medals will receive great graces.
The front of the medal depicts Mary standing on a globe with the head of a serpent beneath her feet. Circling the oval-shaped medal is the signature: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the reverse, 12 stars surround a large "M" from which a cross arises. The 12 stars refer to the Apostles, who represent the entire Church as it surrounds Mary. Below the “M”, the medal depicts two flaming hearts. The left heart, circled with thorns, represents Jesus. The right heart, pierced by a sword, symbolizes Mary.
