This a magnificent set of antique painted-glass window panes. The set consists of four diamond-shaped pieces with Catholic symbols: the “IHC” Christogram; the Crown of Thorns; “Emmanuel” with wheat; and a stork piercing her breast.
These were removed from an old church in England and are believed to date to the late 1800s.
This is a fantastic vintage icon. It is an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary as she appeared to Juan Diego in Mexico, 1531. The Madonna is shown with her head slightly bowed and her hands clasped in prayer.
This piece has a wooden base while the icon is a print with a heavy silvered metal overlay.
Condition: The hanger is bent. Please see pictures.
This is a gorgeous religious collectible. It is a bas-relief image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a young Christ. Our Lord in leaning on His mother’s shoulder with His arm resting on a book. Our lady is looking outward with one arm wrapped around her Son, as if pondering His fate.
This plate is titled “Madonna Pensosa” or the Pensive Madonna and is part of the 1978 “Living Madonna” series created by Ado Santini and hand made in Toscana, Italy.
This is a lovely devotional piece showing Jesus sitting on a bench surrounded by adoring children. Our Lord is holding an infant in His lap while listening to the prayers of a young boy. The piece is green Jasperware ceramic marked “Germany.” Absolutely gorgeous.
This is a beautiful icon depicting The Last Supper. Christ is shown at the center with a magnificent halo as He reveals the miracle of the Eucharist. The Apostles are seated to either side listening intently. The print is vibrant and full of energy.
