This is an elegant, antique holy water font. The central image is a large metal medallion showing Christ in profile wearing a heavy Crown of Thorns. The latin “Salvator Mundi” (Savior of the World) is written along the outer rim of the medallion, which in turn is framed in a wreath. The wreath is an ancient symbol of victory as well as eternal life. Beneath the medallion is a blank nameplate above a beautiful fluted glass font bowl.
This is an elegant, vintage holy water font dating from the 1920s to early 1930s. It is bright brass on wood with the symbols for each of the four evangelists on the outer edges of the cross: Matthew - a winged man; Mark - a winged lion; Luke - a winged ox; and John - an eagle.
The font is quite large and has a glass insert. "Made in Germany" is printed on the back.
This a beautiful Art Deco font. It is metal medallion of the Blessed Virgin Mary in profile with her hands folded in prayer encircled by a simple halo. The medallion is placed on a wooden plaque stained a rich walnut brown with marbled bakelite detailing and a fluted glass bowl.
The is a wonderful vintage holy water bottle and stand. The stand shows a Miraculous Medal with “Franciscan Monastery Washington DC” surrounding it. The bottle is glass with a simple cross on one side.
This is a beautiful small vintage aspergillum. This is perfect for personal use in a bag or car and would also make wonderful a gift for your busy priest. It has a silver finish with threaded caps at both ends. The top cap has a cross and three holes to sprinkle holy water while the bottom is open to fill the tube.
