This is a highly detailed antique holy water font. It is a standing font with a large vase-shaped bowl beneath a cross. The cross is embellished with the symbols of The Passion, also known as the Arma Christi.

The Pillar - where Christ was scourged.
The Reed - which was placed in Jesus' hand as a sceptre in mockery.
INRI - Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum (Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews).
The Holy Grail - the chalice used by Jesus at The Last Supper, and which some traditions say Joseph of Arimathea used to catch His blood at the crucifixion.

The Dice - with which the soldiers cast lots for Christ's seamless robe.
The Rooster - that crowed after Peter's third denial of Jesus.
The Vessel - used to hold the gall and vinegar.
The Ladder - used for the Deposition, i.e. the removal of Christ's body from the cross for burial.
The Hammer - used to drive the nails into Jesus' hands and feet.
The Pincers - used to remove the nails.
The Vessel of Myrrh -used to anoint the body of Jesus, either by Joseph of Arimathea or by the Myrrhbearers.
The Shroud - used to wrap the body of Jesus before burial.
The Bag of Money - thirty pieces of silver, the price of Judas' betrayal.
The Lantern- used by the arresting soldiers at the time of the betrayal.
The Swords and Staves - used by the Roman soldiers.
The Sword - used by Peter to cut off the ear of the High Priest's servant.

This is a beautiful vintage devotional wall plaque. The Blessed Virgin Mother is shown holding a young Christ in her arms. Our Lady is holding Jesus in both hands with a bouquet of roses in the crook of her arm. So Sweet.
This is a magnificent vintage religious devotional. It is a sculpted image of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding an infant Christ in her arms. Our Lady is wearing voluminous medieval style robes with a shorter veil over long hair. Christ Jesus is shown holding a dove in one hand, representing the Holy Spirit, and a loaf of bread in the other, representing the Holy Eucharist.
This piece has a matt finish with green patina highlighting the details. The reverse is painted gold and there are two holes to allow mounting.
This is a fantastic vintage piece of devotional art. It is a sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding a toddler Jesus on her lap. Our Lady is sitting comfortably in a chair hugging Our Lord close. This piece is after the famous 1514 painting “The Madonna della Seggiola” by Raphael.
